I kind of feel the same way. I absolutely hate having to maintain someone else's ego. I notice this outside of romantic relationships too. Everyone seems to love complaining about shit and I'm just expected to sit and nod. I don't care and you telling me about the coworker you dislike makes me want to leave you and fuck your sister. Everybody is so much fucking work. I still speak with my parents and my little brother but that's about it.
