Unfortunately the degeneration of the university to a production facility of office workers has had disastrous consequences for the education of people. Socializing with most people that read books without any kind of filter, without any kind of aesthetic space that attracts the right kind of person is fruitless. Most people have, because of school, never been able to enjoy the process of thought, and reading, which renders their understanding limited. Afterall, what you enjoy if what you will spend the most time with, and the more time you spend with something, the more you come to know it.

You should read philosophers, and reply to their works with your own. That is the conversation of philosophy.

if you are not too retarded you can say the problems are egalitarianism, opposition of the status quo for the sole purpose of opposing it (i.e. postmodernism), the emphasis on sex/sexual freedom, peace making people weak, materialism removing humanity from human, etc

read hegel then read capital vol I-III and the manifesto then read lenin, stalin, mao and deng if you want to understand how each communist state worked. then read paul cockshott to understand how future socialist states could work.
some background knowledge in classical economics, neoclassical economics and history would help you
