I’ve used the term /lit/ renaissance a bunch lately so it could have been me; i genuinely feel a sea change.
I just finished a podcast with some of the Unreal Press guys, and during it, I came to the realization that there is a history to be told of the works that have emerged from this board.
A lot of anons don’t have my perspective, and some will have more than I have, however I remember in the before-times, there were a lot of collaborative efforts put together by anons that resulted in published works of varying caliber, such as the triumphant Coronameron, and the Legacy of Totalitarianism in a Tundra.
There’s been an interesting shift from working as anons together, building works by Anonymous, to a faction of independent authors who have now teamed up to form the internets preeminent literary gang. It’s super exciting and I look forward to putting the work in. I might even portend that there’s a small name to be made for myself in the establishment of a reliable /lit/teary critique.
There should definitely be an ‘Early /lit/ Reading List’ detailing some of the more epic collaborative works by Anonymous. I’ll likely do that at some point too.
