I know I am above average in intelligence. I don’t say this to brag, but just to state a fact. I’ve been tested before and I’m firmly in the midwit category. In my corporate job, I regularly see that I am a better problem-solver, critical thinker, etc. than most.

Yet on this website, despite all its flaws I read some profound things. I see stuff you guys post sometimes and get in awe. Even if your personal lives are in shambles I have a deep respect for some of you.

Is there any literature out there which deals with the themes of being above average, but being humbled in the face of true genius?
