With democrats i also include communists and anarchists who believe that some form of democracy is possible.

99% of people don't matter when it comes to anything. The example I was thinking of was how BLM went from a dwindled, fringe ethnic coalition into white middle class america overnight. Such massive changes in the political landscape like that are only possible because of how plugged in people are into online mediums. That is one such example but the success of trump while not to blame on /pol/tards was driven by engagement with online media. Many examples of it. I don't understand why you would deny the increasingly rapid way in which the online world is seeping into and moulding the real one
