I'm reading The Count of Monte Cristo and I'm finding it to be silly as hell. Apparently, the Count has seen the world and learned basically everything about history and science in three years. It's like I'm reading a Batman comic without cool visuals. Does it ever get good, or is it just hero-wankery till the end?
