babby's first VN etc
not bad I guess but not at all literature according to certain pretentious definitions of literature

Hatoful Boyfriend is the true game of kings
CARVE IT INTO YOUR SOUL, KID

Saya no Uta is good, as others have said, but I don't play VNs too much. Since no one's mentioned it yet, Hatoful Boyfriend is hilarious. It's a dating game about pigeons!

I was supposed to have that book already but shipping's been fucked up. I do like the original [?] title, Animalizing Postmodernity, tho. There's a compilation of essays on 'otaku culture' called Fandom Unbound: Otaku Culture in a Connected World (contains articles by Hiroki Azuma and many others), but I learned about it from this

so I'm a bit more guarded. Pretty sure Mishima is always in style, anyway.
