I have been trying to pinpoint why sci fi is so gay and hardly any of it is good, especially hard sci fi. And I've come to the conclusion that its because space is fake and gay and we all know it instinctively. It's all a lie yet we have books going over the "science" of it all. Explaining in great detail the ins and outs of the experience. And this is also why magic systems are retarded. It takes away the magic and turns it into a tangible science but it too is also fake and gay. It's just embarrassing to make stories try to be scientifically accurate when that is not possible. Just accept the whimsy, accept the unknown. You are never going to space in some nihilistic Blindsight space ship to see shitty aliens, sorry. The best I can give you is for you to take CIA drugs that make interdimensional reptilians come and rape you to death.

Make up? It's just common sense that thanks to technology, women can have a wider selection of men to choose from, instead of a limited selection at say their college/local bar/workplace/church/etc.
