/lit/ - Literature

Listen, I'm not an elitist bigot or gatekeeper like the other guys here. We were all teenagers one time or another. So I'll offer the weebs an olive branch.
You guys are allowed to stay as long as you make an effort to scratch at least one book off the /sffg/ canon every month. My standards aren't super high so this casual NPR chart will do. Remember, I'm not here to get you a PhD in English lit. I'm just trying to get you guys accustomed to reading something that's not anime or video game inspired. During this time you may consume whatever other pieces of Japanese culture you want. As long as you keep up the effort that's fine with me.
If you have continue to do so then after one year I will offer you a path to /lit/izenship. But remember, you will always be naturalized /lit/izen and not a natural born one so you won't be allowed to post thread starters.
