how do i come up with a twist? im thinking of a drug dealer screenplay and the head guy is on the run while the other guy needs to find him, how can i make the chase suspenseful and with a noir like mystery? any noir influences?

I'm so fucking tired of waiting till tomorrow to get things started or working myself up to do it then just giving up before I even start. I just want to get something done for once in my life
