>I don’t want to abandon it yet.
This simple statement means more than you realize at this time
We're praying for you

Fren, dear fren. I know your struggle. I do all of this. I buy books that I promise I will read, then I am really disappointed in myself for not reading them.

You might want to ebay some of those that you have let collect dust as they will constantly remind you of the fact they are not finished. I did this and I also abandoned Goodreads and tracking apps and I don't even count stuff I have read any more.

Then I got an e-reader used off ebay and told myself, if I can download it off Libgen for free at some point then I will when I am ready.

I do not keep a list of books, but if I am interested in a book then I will just remember it. If my mental note is still there when I am looking for something new, then I download it. If the mental note has faded, I wasn't that enthusiastic about it at all. This means nothing accumulates and I have no guilt about obtaining it and getting excited for it, and then failing to read it.

I might go full e-reader soon, I dunno. But this has helped, as now I am not tied to an "achievement list" or anything.

Hope this helps, fren.
