I'll bite. It's most likely Zizek, hopefully he's the one that'll help us get back on track with sanity, get rid of ID politics, and finally beat the capitalist ideology.

Regardless of our respective ideologies, I'll assume that pretty much everyone here can at least agree we're about to face the decline and probable fall of civilization/ideology as we know it since the end of WWII, maybe an even larger change than that, some might argue.

Do you think this is an exciting/interesting time to be "an intellectual" or would you rather live in a more stable time with more certainties?

Since I've started reading non-fiction seriously it became more and more difficult to endure the idiotic political/philosophical comments of my friends/acquaintance/family.

Should I just shut up and not react to shit like "Ben Shapiro is an absolute genius" or just get new friends? Problem is I'm way too dumb and socially isolated/autistic to meet actual intellectuals.

How the fuck do you guys put up with the insanities you can hear in everyday life?
