What gives you that idea? These threads have the usual misogynistic posts--whether feigned or real, who can say--but I don't recall any negative analysis of her work recently.

Of her work, I have only read "The Left Hand of Darkness". I didn't enjoy it much as I found the subject matter of sociology and politics, dressed up in a thinly veiled transexual theme, fairly unimpressive. I don't recall her prose having any special redeeming flavor however I did finish a book that was largely about an Earthman eventually wanting to fornicate with an alien tranny so it couldn't have been too bad.
