The modern University is not about education. You are the one being fooled. "It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it." It is (de facto) illegal to give a job applicant an IQ test. It is considered quite proper to accept a university student based on an SAT score. They are equivalent tests.

I hope you can put this all together. The company can thus discriminate based on IQ, by using the university diploma, without getting sued. The intervening four years to get the bachelor's is pointless. Everyone recognizes it but you.

(There's also reasons of indoctrination and proof of conscientiousness at some schools still. But the main point is as above.)

It definitely focuses the spirit, at least if you try to hold that inward light while you do it. I'm on day two of a water fast right now. I spend 30% of the year fasting. I'm considering adding a bit more to be close to the divine.

(I've only lost 10 lbs since I started about 4 years ago. Just enough to put me back in my ideal BMI.)
