I love Soseki's characters' dis-attachment prevalent in many of his stories. Most people unfortunately only endeavour to read Botchan, Kokoro and maybe I am a Cat.

He was really dynamic, but he was best at describing isolation, mainly stemming from his own life.

What is your opinion of Soseki Natsume?

I recently have to analyze the book Grass on the Wayside, for a class of mine and I want to acquire some incite on this book. Like what is it about? Whom it is about? Where? etc. Please help a fellow /lit/fag out!

Thanks, but I`ve read pretty much the entire score of works by the `great` Japanese literature. I`d say Soseki does a better job of isolation and self-contempt
