I've read most of the classics and the famous works of philosophy and I have to say I'm disappoint. I expected a life changing experience and deep insights permanently altering my world view. All I got was a few mildly entertaining stories and a lot of unwarrantedly narcissistic midwittery. Is this really all there is to literature or did I miss something?
