To be able to write, be a father, and a husband to a woman, you'd have to be the most fucking amazing person at time management. If you can find men who are great fathers AND great writers while married, then they either have teams of people helping them, or they are one-in-a-million genius level people who can handle all of the pressures coming all at once that intrude on the introspection and quiet you need to actually put pen to paper. I fully admit I would fail at being a full time parent and husband while writing, I could handle one or the other, not both at the same time.

You need to be a narcissist of some form to be an artist. Look at the very pinnacle of artistry and you will find the absolutely biggest fucking narcissists imaginable like Taylor fucking Swift. That fucking tool of the demiurge, that absolutely satanic cunt.

Narcissism itself has a scale for sure, if you have zero narcissism, then you are pretty much egoless and will be happy to just be a worker bee with no personality and no aspirations of your own, and why would you self-express if there is no "self" in your mind?

The opposite end of the coin is like Taylor Swift, someone so inwardly focused that she creates her own gravity which the demiurge then harnesses to use your ego to shape millions of women who see themselves in you, and want to become like you because they have so little ego themselves, replicating Taylor's shitty self with her complete lack of introspection. You need a balance of EGO vs INTROSPECTION to really know yourself, and that's where actual, real magic happens in creation, where you have a balance between seeing yourself as an individual AND as a part of a whole. I like to think my own narcissism has this balance and my art reflects that.
