Is there a tier list/power ranking list for James Joyce?

Do you always post on /lit/ after giving up on a novel after the first page? You could at least put in a fraction of the effort an author spent writing into reading the work.

Hey /lit/, who would win in a cage fight between Stephen Dedalus and Holden Caulfield?

More importantly, which did you feel to be the better novel? Personally I think I'd have to give the edge to Catcher in the Rhye over A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. It's much more accessible for one, and I find Sallinger's satire more appealing than Joyce's dry prose. Plus it got rid of John Lennon, so there's another plus.
