I'm not the guy you're replying to, and can't speak for the first claim, but sexual abuse in the Catholic Church has around 4% frequency and 4 of 5 victims are boys.

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/andrewbrown/2010/mar/11/catholic-abuse-priests

More children are actually abused in Protestant churches, with roughly 260 reported occurrences a year, than Catholic churches, with 228:

https://religionnews.com/2015/12/07/spotlight-its-not-just-a-catholic-problem/

https://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/16/us/16protestant.html

And many other easily googled studies will show you statistics for child abuse in secular institutions, like schools, being much higher than Catholic abuse. The problem is found in the structure of institutions, and positions of power (priests, pastors, social workers, teachers) which attract pedophiles. I also agree with the other anon, who mentioned that homosexual priests is a huge problem. While overall instances of child abuse are lower than Protestant churches and secular institutions, Catholic abuse is drastically skewed towards boys.

However, just as a morally evil teacher doesn't detract from the value and necessity of education, an evil priest does not diminish the truth of the Church. The drastic attention focused on Catholic abuse cases specifically is no doubt a coordinated effort to disillusion the population is respect to religiosity, and foster animosity towards Catholicism specifically.

So, I'm beginning to work hard for the first time in my life and I've been able to sort out my sleeping schedule as well as get /fit/. Only issue is that I'm a Christian and the thing motivating my is pure hatred and revenge at all the people who have wronged me. It's thinking about that time that girl said something mean to me in class that gives me the energy to carry on running that extra mile. It's the teacher that called me an idiot after asking me a question that motivates me continue studying to get this degree and it's that guy who wrote "anon is gay" at the back of the chair of maths class just to make me feel bad.

I know I can't hurt people but I think becoming successful will feel far better than punching or swearing at a person and so that is my fuel but at the same time I wanna be a devoted disciple of Christ and am wondering if this is a good christian way to motivate myself or if it can at least be allowed.

Christian answers only if you are a none Christian please fuck off your opinion is not wanted here.

Imagine failing to grasp Christianity this badly. Imagine knowing Augustine and not knowing the meaning of Christian Charity.

God forgives through the implement of a priest. Bind and loose, forgive and don't forgive, etc etc. If you died before you got to confession, but fully intended to and had repented, I'm sure you'd be fine. But you should still try to go as it's a sacrament and a great source of grace.
