Because of deep social pressures, parings are all that is allowed, so it is still very forbidden to *be* a bisexual. Bisexual men and women end up having to choose one lifestyle or another, and maybe they're suited to do so, but what happens quite often is their chosen way of life shifts. A most common story is the mother who divorces her husband and "turns lesbian". This is just the bisexual she always was trying to come out. Some couples just turn frigid early in life and never have much of a sex life for the rest of their years. Both could be bisexual, who knows.

Finished a chapter from Inseparable concerning "Male Amazons", or dudes in drag. Though focused on the women who clearly go somewhat lesbian for these cross-dressers, I thought I'd mention it for some who may be interested.
