Why does this meme keep being recommended on here?
It starts off as some /lit/ lurker's diary and ends with a hole lot of "lmao drugs", "just bee urself" and QTs jumping on the narrator's cock.

Explain yourselves.

About 100 pages into this.
I've read other Hesse novels but this one is different.
Has anyone read this? Does anything actually happen in the plot? It reads like a long essay of Harry's observations. Sometimes interesting and droll, but often times boring.

I'm reaching a pretty low point in my depression. I feel like i'm on the ''heigh of despair''. Books have been my medicine for many years but rereading just doesn't work.

What are books that give you hope or work as medicine for the soul?
