It's funny as hell to think that by January, when Georgia has BOTH their Senate runoff races, Biden will probably be firmly ensconced as President-Elect, so the Republicans will be able to run, and win, on the idea of holding the Senate to "keep Biden in check." They'll also run on the idea that people have to stop Biden from packing the Supreme Court, which he can't deny because all the leftists idiots in the party, like AOC, have openly called for doing exactly this.

It will probably win them BOTH Senate races. And I bet we'll even get some Biden voters voting for both Republicans, too.

The next two years, or more, are going to be such a total fucking mess. This is WITHOUT even thinking about the huge mass of Trump supporters that are probably going to turn into domestic terrorists, murdering people and blowing things up.

We have so many of these threads that I have basically come to believe that they are cope from morons who seethe at the mere existence of /lit/. People make these threads because they're so stupid that they have trouble reading fiction, and it confuses them and makes them feel dumb. So they make these threads belittling fiction as a way of making themselves feel better about their own failure. It's like the story of the fox and the grapes.

If you prefer philosophy to prose and poetry, you are a true midwit. You have failed to realize that writers and poets are just as smart as philosophers, and they are capable of communicating their ideas in far more effective ways than philosophers can. When Goethe wanted to critique Hegel, he didn't write a philosophical treatise, as Hegel did. Instead, Goethe wrote Faust. And Faust has lived on in the minds of the masses far more than anything Hegel ever wrote. The poets always outlive the philosophers.
