What are the essential anti-Christian books? I think Jesus was a cult leader and a magician that tricked people into thinking he was 'God'. He did nothing to deserve that title besides say 'Love people' and then get crucified. There is more wisdom in Hegel or the Upanishads than the Bible. It's awfully repetitious and his parables aren't that wise. What should I read?

Why have Christians fundamentally failed to answer the problem of evil?

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Why is the bible so terribly written? It doesn't offer arguments, just normative claims that are not even explained by metaphor. Virtually any other holy book is written better. I could agree with every single word in the bible but the fact it's wrote like that makes me feel like it isn't the word of God. Has anyone wrote a better version?
