HEY /LIT/, CAPSGUY HERE.

I FEEL LIKE ANOTHER BENDER FOR DOORSTOPPERS. I'M LOOKING FOR ONE OR TWO MORE TO ADD TO MY CURRENTLY READING LIST.

ANY IDEAS?

I'VE GOT THE FOLLOWING LINED UP:
TWENTY YEARS AFTER - DUMAS
AUGUST 1914 - SOLZHENITSYN
THE IDIOT - DOSTOEVSKY
RESURRECTION - TOLSTOY

LOOKING FOR WORKS THAT I CAN JUST READ ON AND ON WITH RELATIVE EASE.

WAR AND PEACE, OR LES MISERABLES?

OR WHAT OTHER 1000+ PAGE BOOK SHOULD I TACKLE NEXT. OTHER NOTABLE LONGER WORKS THAT FALL UNDER 1000 PAGES SHALL ALSO SUFFICE.

BEEN HITTING THE SHORT STUFF AS OF LATE, AND IT'S TIME TO PUT A MASSIVE ONE IN THERE.

REQUESTING CLASSICS THAT ONE WOULD BE ABLE TO READ FOR ALMOST 12 HOURS STRAIGHT (DUE TO FLIGHT)

SO NOTHING 'TOO DEEP', AS I'LL HAVE THE DISTRACTIONS OF WAITING FOR FLIGHT, PROBABLE ANNOYING FUCKING BABIES CRYING, AND SHIT LIKE THAT

IN RETURN, FREE RANGE CHICKEN

Hey /lit/.

For those that remember, I'm the guy that you got obsessed with Stephen King, and I posted quite a few threads about his books.

Recently, I've been taking a good break from him until I go to Japan (plan on reading The Stand during flights and commuting on trains). What has been filling the void mostly since my 'break' is what you all seem to label 'Russian literature'

Firstly, I read Cancer Ward and am now reading Great Short works of Fyodor Dostoevsky. I also purchased Master and Margarita, and ordered The Idiot on Friday.

I'm looking for other 'Russian' literature to read afterwards that won't disappoint. I'm thinking of getting One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich. (Didn't Google, so I got the name wrong, sorry ^^). You guys haven't failed me before, so once again, many thanks in advance!

Picture related: It's my new trademark 'thank you' picture I use when conveying thanks.

/lit/, you've turned me....

I was always against ereaders, and now I feel like I need to get one. However, this fad hasn't taken off in my country yet. Probably will have to purchase online and import.

I know nothing about any ereaders, especially about copywrite protection and the like. Since many of you guys use them day in and out, though that I should ask here. Some disallow you from importing pirated copies, right?
