Kinda, but superior quality.

I haven't finished it.

I liked Broom of the System better than Infinite Jest though, so I couldn't see why it would be 'sacrilege'.

I'm back; I missed you /lit/~

I didn't get much reading done, I only read Have Space Suit-Will Travel, The Heart of a Dog and Kneller's Happy Campers. I also started Junky.

In regards to HSS-WT I didn't think it was quite 'essential science fiction', sort of dull in parts.

The Heart of a Dog was my first Bulgakov and I wasn't really sure what to expect but it was quirky and amusing so overall I thought it was pretty good.

Kneller's Happy Campers was great thanks SLAF

So, did you guys miss me?

What is the last book you read and what did you think of it?

The Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea by Yukio Mishima. This was my first Mishima novel and I was worried it wouldn't live up to my expectations after Patriotism but I found it thoroughly enjoyable and look forward to reading Confessions of a Mask when it arrives.
