This may fly in the face of empiricism or rationality but I have these strange feeling that there are some important figures in history, that offer transcendental truths to the world who always ALWAYS seem to be pleasant looking. Like someone you can trust.

Yet when I look at Marx, Stalin, Zizek, Evola, Carlyle etc they really seem like little demons, very disgusting people in general and in their personal lives. I feel like that carries over into their ideas, maybe it's a sign from god about the true messengers, who knows.
