I think I know why George is having such a slow time of it...

Did any of you read his short fiction "The Dark Haired Woman?" He's pretty much describing a fling with an African prostitute in Rwanda. While the protagonist - an American English professor - is there, they discover a comet heading towards Earth, and they develop something more, blah blah.

Really elementary stuff and some of his earliest work but damn, the man loves black women and their "Nappy, soulful elegance".
