Begone anal*tic pleb. The point you are trying to make applies to someone like Hegel (and even then it's still advice for plebs, but at least it would be correct) but not Kant. Kant is perfectly comprehensible, and the controversies of interpretation regarding his work are all relatively minor.

An***tic "philosophers" are simply idiots who make mountains out of molehills by obsessing over "THE ANALYTIC/SYNTHETIC DISTINCTION" when what they are really doing is straining it through Quine and British empiricism and reducing all its subtlety to a talking point.

Analytic philosophy is retarded but I wish you a successful thread nonetheless

This interview is interesting, he basically says analytic philosophy is dead or dying. Starts from about 7 min on
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9aGv8s5ukE

Also talks about how he likes elements of Heidegger, and then gives his definition of free will around 24-25:30 which is shockingly bad and VERY typically analytic, if anyone is interested in seeing "analytic thinking in action." If how he "dissolves" the free will problem excites you, congratulations, you're a natural analytic philosopher.

Also this woman is a poster child for why women should never be philosophers. If you ever look up to academics, or want to get a PhD, this woman's surface-level airheaded commentary is a pretty accurate representation of what it's like to sit in on an "upper-level" seminar. Note how she knows less than the average retard /lit/ user but is also way more confident about it? That's because in those "upper-level" seminars she was surrounded by 11 other people like herself, and then ONE of you. She feels very at home in the field she knows nearly nothing about and has no respect for. Enjoy grad school.
