I am not refusing to read the Expanse. I have already read the first few books. And decided it's not for me. Which does not mean that somehow the Expanse is not for you too. Read it, enjoy it - and for a good reason. As I said it's a good series. Far, far better than most of the shit that gets peddled as sci-fi nowadays.
I know this place is full of hysterically insecure posters who try to overcompensate with, as you said, being pretentious pricks but that's not me.
I am always up to anything that is above Sanderson a hack level of discussion.
Completely unrelated to all of this but damn does the Expanse have horrible cosplay.
