92:7.5.Primitive religion was largely a material-value consciousness, but civilization elevates religious values, for true religion is the devotion of the self to the service of meaningful and supreme values. As religion evolves, ethics becomes the philosophy of morals, and morality becomes the discipline of self by the standards of highest meanings and supreme values—divine and spiritual ideals. Diverse religious experiences of diverse religious leaders from diverse cultures.

This is the greatest spiritual book I have come across so far. One thing it stresses is the accepting of Truth wherever it is from, no matter the religious tradition or age it is born, if there is any truth, wisdom, beauty, goodness or spiritual value in it, we should absorb it and love it.

The existence of God can never be proved by scientific experiment or by the pure reason of logical deduction. God can be realized only in the realms of human experience; nevertheless, the true concept of the reality of God is reasonable to logic, plausible to philosophy, essential to religion, and indispensable to any hope of personality survival.
