Read 51 books so far, read 51 total last year and 54 in 2020.

Last year was the year I read the most, but I almost only read classics throughout the year, so the average book length was 504 pages. This year I'm down to a 348 page average due to reading a lot of philosophy instead.

I don't even think I read that much. I just quit playing video games and don't use social media, and I use some of the spare time I have left over to read every day.

>it took me a whole hour to read through "The sisters" with all of the notes
Am i retarded? Also why is the story named like that? The father's passing seems to be much more the core subject.

What's the name in economics for when you spend money getting tools and software to help you be more productive.

So, you end up with a garage filled with professional tools.

I realized now I have several physical gear for gamedev (a MIDI keyboard, a kinect, a drawing tablet) and I've realized I also have at least 150 USD worth of 3D and 2D software on itch.io.

I know is something silly to ask why, but I've realized now I will literally outwork in terms of productivity some noob who are just starting.

In any case, I wonder if that has a name in economics.

Whithout a grand religious narrative, there's not real reason to live, not big social narrative, no big common natioalistic values to follow, no tradition to protect, no family to go back after war, no cute wife that will take care of your kids.

There's nothing on modernism, liberalism or anything from the illustration.

It all boils down to subjectivity and made up morality.

>but make up your own morality and goals that's the point
Then all is pointless because there's nothing there to hide the suffering of just being alive, the void of being concious, the fear of death, the emptyness of nihilism.

A made up personal goal is not enough to give life meaning.
And you can't give grand spiritual goals to your life, because religion was killed by liberals.
The only goals in life to liberals are to be a good goy, make money and cooonsoom plastic garbage you saw on some youtube ads to coonsoom some plastic cheap pornography from chinks cartoons.

some crappy anime girl figurine wont solve your emptyness and mental illness because of the lack of some deep spiritual meaning.

There's nothing in the illustration goals than being a wagecuck all your life to buy plastic chink cartoons made from salve labour and suffer because you can't even afford a loyal wife with your own biological kids with your own house.

I don't understand how democracy is supposed to work when people are dumb and easily manipulatable.
