How do you take the most out of a book? Specifically non-fiction.
I've taken to reading history in particular. What I do is read it cover to cover. By the end I can only remember a general overview and tend to forget the majority of the detail quite quickly.

I've never developed good studying skills. I understand you're supposed to take notes but have no idea how to go about it. I've tried it in the past but either underline every second sentence or spend 2 hours summarizing the introduction.

The Universe does not change its dynamics when Human beings change their theories. The theories change to accommodate the Universe.
