Because those of us who read those series back in the late eighties/early nineties use a website that didn't come into existence until this decade? Are you for real? For fuck's sake, anon, get a grip. Discworld (and Hitchhikers, since you brought it up) are hugely popular series that have been in the public conscience for decades. Why the hell would you associate them with Reddit?
