>I'm not super up to date on my JP translations
Yeah, I'd actually been angling for an NIT for years, but just as I was ready to get one, the JBSIV premiered, and I thought it best to wait a little longer to hear about it and see if the Protestant and Catholic churches adopted it. I noticed the JBS website has finally digitized their JBSIV text, but it's still pretty clunky to search, though it means comparisons can actually be done now fairly easily. Assuming they're still in the process of creating editions of the new translation, I can only hope a new diglot is under production as we speak. That said, picrel really is a nice edition and I might pull the trigger on it once it comes back in stock.
>My original intent is to use them to study Kanji, but I love the Diglot so much I might start carrying it.
Same reason I hope for an updated JBSIV diglot. If one comes out, it could actually become my new carrying Bible.

Been thinking about this Bible for some English-to-Japanese translation work, since it's the 2018 revision of the Bible that 80% of Japan uses and but it's not online so I'd need to get a physical copy to properly do said work. Should I get A5-size or B6-size? Most of my Bibles are 6" x 8.25", so I'm leaning toward A5.

Based on the talk of it in this thread, I asked /jp/ their thoughts about this being the best Japanese Bible and the jannies nuked the thread as it just got going. I thought they were a board for Japanese discussion?
