Take your favorite work of literature (or your favorite writer) and insult it as harshly as you can. Make it sound like a shitty piece of rubbish. And don't use nonsense, make legitimate criticisms. Make us hate the book/poem/essay.


A River Runs Through It by Norman Maclean:

Comes off as dry and overly-sentimental. He tries hard to coordinate religion with the narrative, but it comes off as contrived and pretentious. Not worth the time.
