i use this old Kobo N905, bought it from ebay for like $35. i like it because it can connect natively to my Linux PC, and it can read .epubs natively. yeah the screen's a bit small, but for $35 and unlimited books, no ads, seriously what is there to complain.

as far as the smaller device storage, most of my epub books are in my computer anyway, i just xfer back and forth as needed so not an issue

battery life lasts for weeks at a time too. honestly i seriously don't understand why people pay a lot of money for meme sizes, proprietary file formats, AND ads on top of it. absolute madness, bezos has most of ITT by the balls
