>188. On the 23rd of August Margaret Stainla of Offenhausen, otherwise known as the Spilkundl, who had broken the Ban eight times, had her fingers cut off. On October 30th, 1590 she had been flogged out of the town.

>189. August 27th. Adam Tupler a carrier from the Wirtenberg country, to whom Strobl entrusted a barrel full of old brass, inside which 230 florins were packed. He broke the barrel open in a wood near Geysslingen, took 111 florins, bought a horse with 35 of these, and left the remainder of them in the care of the inn-keeper. The remaining 119 florins and the brass he buried in the wood. On which account he was flogged out of the town.

>192. October 9th. Anna Maria Schwerdtmennin a thief from Weyssmann, mistress of the executed Jew whom she had helped in his thefts and murders. She was to be executed on Saturday, but protested against the sentence because she was with child, and was flogged out of the town. On the 10th of July of the year 1592 she had been so flogged, together with her lover. (See Part II., No. 180.)

>194. December 11th. Anna Arnoldin, a peasant wench (servant) here from Lauff, because she had secretly borne a child, which she had thrust under the bedclothes with the intention of suffocating it. But her mistress found it, so that it was baptized, although it died immediately after. Flogged out of the town.
