Is it really that hard to just make a couple of bucks out of it? You know, like a side hustle/passive income deal? I don't intend to make a living out of it, I just want to get some extra cash every now and then.

I want to write cop stories, war stories, serious shit about serious people, but I feel so disconnected from that world and with so little knowledge that I write edgy/violent super hero shit. But then since things are "too serious" in my story about teenagers shooting laser beams out of their eyes everything begins feeling absurd and downright stupid.

Are there any good history books about the 19th century, especially the latter half? I want to learn more about it as its my favorite century for literature.

how the fuck am I supposed to believe in God when there is so much suffering? Stuff like earthquakes and cancer in children, I just can't.
