Sometimes my nieces come over and I have to play with them, and it's fucking horrible to be honest.

Children are like the manifestation of every bad virtue a person could have.
They're selfish, stupid, lack critical thinking skills, they're impatient, and so on.

My oldest niece just turned 8 and she's starting to develop some sort of intelligence, so I can start having some interesting conversations with her, but having to entertain the 4 year old is terrible.

hey /lit/ when you are reading a book do you imagine the locale as somewhere familiar to you.

When the characters are in a house, I almost always imagine them in my head as being at my childhood home, or at a childhood friend's home, etc.
