>I've heard that Asimovs books were about the exploration of his three laws and how they're actually flawed
You've heard regurgitated bullshit.

What would later become the three laws of robotics were created to convince an audience inundated with the idea of killer robots that a robot could be something helpful and desirable. SOME of his robot stories are about the LIMITATIONS of applying these principles. "Law" is misleading. He inadvertently ends up advocating for a Wittgenstein-ish 'context matters' approach to ethics, but Asimov's writing is not intentionally ethical in nature. When a robot breaks, Asimov's characters treat it like an appliance. His robots aren't people, they're toasters that can talk.

To answer your question: I, Robot

Why would that be a weird fact? Hashire Melos is a novel by Dazai, so it would only make sense to have him as mascot for a product that is literally named after one of his works.

I just read a book/short story that was profoundly moving. I have never been so touched or so emotionally moved by any other piece of literature. It left me feeling absolutely ruined after reading it, for a solid few days.

That was about a week ago. I really, really want to re-read it. However, my fear is that if I read it again so soon, it will further solidify the story in my head and make subsequent readings of the story less potent and meaningful.

I know I can't chase the dragon and I know the first time will always be the strongest, but what do you guys do when you find a serious gem that you want to be able to appreciate over and over without diminishing its emotional effects?
Normally I would search out related literature and read it too, but this story is a genuine one-of-a-kind.

Probably, atleast I did. I browse /lit/ and /vg/. Sometimes I visit /pol/, but that place has turned to shit, and keeps changing for the worse with time.

if I had balls Id just ask him but im afraid he'll say no and I dont have enough time to do everything from scracth. I think im just going to gamble.

Anti Oedipus feels like a colossal waste of time I am not getting anything out of it. It feels deep and at times I even fool myself into thinking I understand it but I just don't. Worst part is Im ignoring university assignments and exams to read a book I dont understand.

How do I maximize information retention when reading fiction? Taking notes doesn't seems suitable. Is there a 'proper' way to read?
