OP's a nigger!
How do I know?
I watched him pop outta a swarthy hoe!

OP's an ape!
How can I tell?
By my eyes and sense of smell!

OP's a coon!
Why do I claim?
He's got no dad nor sense of shame!

>but his description of the black boxer from Harlem in Herbert West: Re-Animator

Im super glad Im not the only one who felt this way, Im super racist and adore Lovecraft but I was super surprised when I first read that part. Lovecraft was really laying down the heat on that particular black dude really harshly for no particular reason, its like he had stubbed his toe five minutes before writing that part and being fucking pissed while thinking about how niggers look.

After an exaustive and restless period at the Arkham Assylum, I still do not feel confident in recounting my memories of that unholy expedition. Driven out by madness as I was, I have since had much time to compose my thoughts, but still my discomfort has not passed. This is my final attempt at salvation – if sharing this tale can lessen my burden, if it can prevent the rediscovery of that unhallowed tribe – then perhaps I can at last forget his screams, forgive myself, and be at peace.

Several months ago, I was but a postgraduate student of anthropology at the Miskatonic University, MA. There was naught left for me to do but write my doctorate thesis, and after many weeks of fruitless deliberation, I was beginning to grow desperate. I could think of nothing to base it on, but after months of trawling through historical records, I found within a document of thusfar unprecedented interest.

The document – yellowed with age and written in archaic verse – was an ancient thing, harkening back a hundred years or more. It related to a lost village of settlers, deep within the heart of a swamp in the rural southwest. I do not know why the passage aroused my curiosty so, but I was desperate, and so decided to pursue the wayward thought as far as I could. Even if the village had since disbanded, or was merely fictional to begin with, I could still gain some valuable experience, and perhaps go on to write my thesis on the other locals. As I prepared for the trip my doubts grew by the minute, but I pressed myself on regardless. Anything, I told myself, was surely better than the nights of worthless toil that preceded me.

The trip was long and unventful, discounting the fact that much of it had to be taken by carriage. The area around the swamp was well and truly rural; and with little arable land I could not help but wonder how these peole subsisted in this place, let alone within the swamp itself. After several hours, I reached my penultimate destination: a tiny hamlet known only as Fisher's Creek. It was undoubtbly named by a passerby or some other offical, as it painted a much more idyllic image than the one I was ultimately confronted with.

what is the RIGHT number of people? i mean if u think the world is overpopulated then we must have found the correct number, and crossed it right? People who say the world is overpopulated are so fucking stupid it hurts me. every year since the beginning of the human race there has been more people on this planet than the year before. Nobody actually knows what the carrying capacity of Earth is because that number has never been reached before. and DON'T say "hurr durr theres starvin childrns in afrika!" because that has nothing to do with overpopulation. Starvation is going on in Africa because of lack of a stable government, they actually have an abundance of resources. Also, people have been starving to death since the beginning of humanity. that doesn't mean its because of overpopulation.
