Lol, what a fucking joke. It's like someone went out of their way to scribble out some incredibly vague gedankenexperiment or something, goddamn. I'm still wondering where the story was in all of it. Nevermind but a tightass like Quine came along years later and reduced the entire "story" to a dot on a piece of paper and a dash on another apparently, so everyone who can reproduce this can essentially reproduce everything that Borges was saying in his pissy little bit of writing, all of my lols. You don't see that shit happening with Beckett or Joyce.
