Decent point, however, while intelligence does lie in the conscious, rational side of things, genius lies in the irrational. If you want to be an ebin smarty pants, embrace rationality alone, if you seek genius, look to the irrational and the divine.
There's a reason most geniuses claim to be divinely inspired; because their insights came from a place they, themselves, aren't aware of and can't rationalize.
The conscious, rational mind is merely a tool to make sense of the irrational. A mind without a soul is like a computer with no user; there is no input.
