Why were these books so important to Evola? when he was summoned to Vienna the manuscripts for these were the only things he took with him. Also, has anybody into the occult read/practiced these and how would you compare them to other works? it seems like they are of a much higher quality and less LARPy than many "occult" books.

if you're open to spirituality and based/redpilled and white, you should read and practice this trilogy. it is much more than profane philosophy. much more powerful than stoicism or dumb egoism, although it is related to these but totally superior.

"Magic" in this sense is not what you think it means, rather it is an active attitude toward spiritual enlightenment (metaphysical reality exists, independent of your opinion, and if you dedicate yourself to these practices and studying the wisdom of the ancients you will probably begin to experience it.)

this is basically transcendent "self-help" for the ancient kings and emperors.

Have any of you read/studied/practiced these writings? if you have devoted a significant amount of time to practicing (or even just studying) I would be interested in talking to you.

Note: "Magic" in this context does not mean what you think it means. It means an active, "heroic" approach toward spiritual enlightenment. The goal is initiation properly understood, which is the reintegration of man into his primordial state; active participation in immortality.

Even if you have only read through them once, what were your thoughts? how do they compare to other "occult" works?

These three volumes. Please note that "magic" in this sense means an active, heroic attitude towards enlightenment, not the (possibly more modern) meaning it has of spells or enchantments or whatever "witchy" shit you are thinking of.

Has anybody read/studied/practiced these books? I am interested in talking to people who have, particularly those who have dedicated serious time and effort.
