Why are trading manuals so monotonous? Things like pic related and Wealth of Nations have some sections (I can think of a certain graph on corn) that are unbelievably monotonous.

But I’m reading pic related because the Fibonacci sequence is in there.

You guys ever read really long, drawn out non-fiction that reads like a manual for older merchants long ago?
