I read Catcher in the rye when I was 18 and identified with Holden and never "grew out of it". Not that there's anything to grow out of. I am the authentic and honest person.

I later found out about r9k. That really hit hard.

My second big epiphany was finding out about the looks blackpill in mid 2014. That nuked my motivation to an insane degree and explained why I was such a loser.

I think my political world view was shaped mostly by /poll/ but reading economics in one lesson was formative as well. Reading Unqualified Reservations within the past few years was an eye opener with regard to how progressivism is crushing everything.
