Just finished my reread of Cradle after reading some Chinese Wuxia and Xianxia novels, and found Cradle farr more enjoyable barring the Abidan plot. Anyone else feel similarly?

Finishing up Cradle now, any more fun progression fantasy with good fight scenes and likeable characters?

I started pick related cause of the shills on here and am enjoying. As far as fast food fiction goes I really couldn't ask for better. It's pretty "anime" at points but I kind of figure you're signing up for that reading cultivation stories.

Any thoughts on Will Wight's work? I thought Cradle was a generally pretty good read, even if half of the first half of the series was pretty empty. Traveler's Gate was... Decent, but the protagonist was utterly lacking. Elder Empire was neat, but the split perspectives across books leaves each split of the series feeling a little empty sometimes.
