In America and England, the special status of Jews as "elite but apart" has faded considerably along with the elite German-Jewish emigre culture that formed its core, and which has been steadily Americanized into mush. "Elite" Jews are now residually elite only, elite by wealth and station but incapable of maintaining themselves, and many of their youth are so out of touch with their Jewish identity that they rebel against it. They are also overly reliant on the American managerial state to defend them and don't understand it is badly ill.

Basically Jews, in the sense intended both Jewish chauvinists and antisemites who think Jews are an elite global cabal, are really a combination of the Greek Phanariotes of the late Ottoman Empire and the "Roma" gypsies, an itinerant Phanariote class that relies on weak local institutions and the ability to flee to greener pastures (financial capitals in other countries with many well-established and sympathetic Jews) whenever an autoimmune response is provoked.

This is well covered in pic related. There's nothing uniquely evil about Jews. They are sort of a function of an economic "gap" that has formed them in its image. They could easily have been assimilated in the 19th century. Marx has a good remark on this:
