>plot is just a series of contrived coincidences
>all the buildup to the ending is just for a "hey remember the Robot series" reference
>plot doesn't actually move and everything is the exact same at the end as it was at the start except Seldon has a vague idea of how to proceed with psychohistory now
>there are apparently like 8 more books including at least an entire trilogy not written by Asimov
Honestly, should I even bother? Is the proper original trilogy any better?
