my english teacher liked me, almost too much some would say.

he would always compliment my hair, laugh ferociously at my jokes and gush all over my answers in class.

and i still managed to get a B.

It's not playground stuff when the genitals of countless of newborn babies are legally mutilated everyday by Rabbis.

It's not childish when children all over the world in religious institutions are deprived of a proper education.

It's not juvenile for the 19 hijackers on september the 11th 2001 who killed nearly 3000 people in the USA or the 52 people killed by the 4 suicide bombers on the 7th of July 2005 in London. I don't believe the victims would have seen the flippancy you detect either.

It's not a game when in 2011 religious fanatics can enslave, starve and murder millions of people by the justification of an imagined higher moral authority.

Maybe human suffering seems trivial to you, humorous even. For the majority of the world affected by religion in one form or another, it's the only debate worth having.

>because it's a useful metric

but why should the ability of political labelling to generalise itself take precedence over seeing the picture with seeing political issues in the most clear perspective possible?

I know this is a well tread subject but I enjoy this kind of debate.

because females cannot into writing

Isn't it paradoxical how they disprove their own message precisely by their effort to communicate it?

There is a theory that people are more themselves on the internet than they are in normal everyday social interactions.

That, precisely because we treat the internet as something trivial and innocuous, we feel much more enabled to act upon our natural compulsions free of the normal social expectations or contraints.

I think this is what he is trying to say, that our interactions in reality is a 'spectacle' for others but on the internet people are free to actualise their true self.
